The Catholic University of Costa Rica (UCAT), a new milestone in the internationalization of BlockcTac

The Catholic University in Costa Rica leads the implementation of the digital records of its academic diplomas in Blockchain, as a result of the agreement established with CTE Global SA, an authorized partner of BlockTac. From 2020, the University will give its students digital certificates of the degrees obtained that they can share and verify immediately with employers.
The platform developed by BlockTac ensures the authenticity of the certificate and its indefinite availability while preventing the university from being supplanted and providing a system for managing the registration and verification processes.
The choice of the BlockTac platform was made due to its superiority over other registration systems that are opaque and uncontrollable by the issuing institutions or executed on private chains of limited scope and security.
The UCAT will also have its own application for mobile devices in which students can save, verify and share all academic certifications obtained, both from official degrees and continuing education programs.
