BlockTac joins the Telefónica Activation Program in the Internet of Things area

BlockTac has been selected to participate in this initiative aimed at start-ups and SMEs in Germany, Spain, and the UK. This will accelerate BlockTac international business development and enhance the implementation of our Blockchain of Things (BoT) platform and devices with Telefónica infrastructure and in its corporate customer portfolio.

BlockTac will leverage the Telefonica expertise in Open Innovation, networking services, and its significant deployment of IoT in Spanish urban and rural areas. BlockTac will be able to test prototypes in a real environment, saving time, and optimizing the investment.

This new collaboration consolidates the one already established between Telefónica and BlockTac in applying Blockchain technology to the solution of business problems, in particular those associated with the authentication and traceability of food and consumer products and verification of distinctive digital assets.
